Board & Train is our most popular option! There is no kennel facility here, your dog will stay in the comfort of our home and receive daily, real world training. Ann Griffin only accepts a few dogs at a time into this program, which is what makes it so different from the rest. Your dog will be worked with on a continuous basis in real life situations, and treated like a member of the family.

There are two options available for the board & train program.

14 Day Well-Mannered Dog

Your dog will be taught the following basic commands:

* Sit
* Down
* Stay
* Come
* Heel


We also focus on real life skills such as sitting for petting by a stranger, passing other dogs quietly, and food safety (no stealing!).

Your dog will go on several field trips to public places such as Downtown, Falls Park, Home Depot, Lowes, and various other shops. If he can do a down/stay at Border Books, then doing so at home when you answer the door will be a piece of cake! The goal is to give you a dog you can live with easily and enjoy taking out in public.

35 Day Wonder Dog

This program includes everything mentioned above, as well the following additional commands:

* Place (go to your bed and stay there, useful when company is over!)
* Leave It (look away from that distraction and pay attention to you instead)
* Door safety (no bolting out!)
* Double the field trips for more practice in distracting environments


All commands in the 35 day program are taught to the off-leash level.
